Cafe Laguna – Dumaguete

Café Laguna began as a labor of love. Started by Lita Urbina, who comes from a family of culinary enthusiasts, the first restaurant in 1991 was her way of sharing her authentic Filipino dishes with everyone. With the help and encouragement of her family, she served carefully prepared home-cooked meals made with goodness and love, meals which brought back childhood memories of her mother’s kitchen and the countless hours spent indulging at the dinner table. When Café Laguna first opened its doors in an unassuming space in Lahug, Cebu City in 1991, the small restaurant became an overnight success simply through word of mouth. From that first restaurant more than 25 years ago, Café Laguna is now a household name synonymous with great Filipino food and warm Filipino hospitality perfect for playing catch-up with friends, family gatherings and milestone celebrations. It has seven branches nationwide and serves over hundreds of clients daily.
