THANK YOU PAGE (YOUR STYLE)
You’ve got the guide
It should be in your inbox now.
If it’s not there, check spam or promotions — it sometimes ends up there.
How to use it
Don’t overthink it.
Read it once before you arrive, or just keep it open on your phone and dip into it when things don’t quite make sense yet.
Most people only need a few parts of it — usually:
- where to base themselves
- how food timing works
- how to move around without overcomplicating it
That’s enough to make the first few days easier.
If you want to use it more
There are a few open pages at the end.
You can ignore them.
Or you can use them to:
- jot down places you’ve been
- keep track of what worked
- add photos if you’re using it digitally
Some people end up turning it into a simple record of their trip without planning to.
Next step (this is where it starts to work properly)
The guide gives you the basics.
The maps show you how everything connects.
Start with where you’re staying, then explore outward from there.
Don’t try to cover everything — it works better when you keep it simple.
What I’ll send you next
I’ll send a few follow-ups over the next days.
Nothing heavy — just things that tend to help once you’re actually here.
Later on (optional)
There are a few extra things I’ve been putting together:
- a more detailed version of the guide
- some location-based breakdowns
- a simple local discount card for certain places
None of it is necessary.
Just there if you find yourself staying longer or wanting to go a bit deeper.
That’s it
Once things start to make sense, you won’t need much else.
Just stay a bit longer than you planned.
WHY THIS WORKS
confirms delivery (reduces confusion)
tells them how to use it (important)
moves them to maps (your core asset)
introduces products softly (no pressure)
sounds like you
OPTIONAL ADD (if you want slightly stronger flow)
Add one button after maps:
Explore the Maps
If you want next step, I can:
- write the email sequence that follows this (very important for conversion)
- or structure how your discount card + guide upsell fits into this flow properly
Perfect — this is the right structure.
You want:
- Download page (immediate use)
- Thank you tone (not salesy)
- Follow-up emails (natural, useful, lead into maps/products later)
I’ll give you all three, clean and ready to use.
1. DOWNLOAD PAGE (THIS IS THE MAIN PAGE AFTER SIGNUP)
You’re in — here’s your guide
Download The Negros Island Guide
[DOWNLOAD BUTTON]
If it doesn’t download automatically, use the button above.
A copy has also been sent to your email so you can access it later.
Quick tip before you open it
Don’t try to read everything like a guidebook.
Just skim it once.
Most people only need a few parts to start:
- where to base themselves
- how food timing works
- how to move without overcomplicating it
That’s usually enough to avoid the early frustration.
How most people end up using it
Some read it once and move on.
Others keep it open on their phone and check it when something doesn’t feel clear yet.
There are a few open pages at the end —
you can ignore them, or use them to jot things down or add photos as you go.
Where to go next
The guide helps you understand things.
The maps show you where everything actually is.
Start with where you’re staying, then look around that area first.
That’s all you need for now
Once things start to click, you won’t need much else.
2. FOLLOW-UP EMAIL SEQUENCE
Keep this simple, useful, and natural.
No marketing tone
No long explanations
Just “this will help”
EMAIL 1 — (send immediately)
Subject: Here’s your Negros guide
You should have the guide now.
If not, check spam or promotions — it sometimes lands there.
One thing that helps straight away:
Don’t try to move around too much early on.
Most people make the first few days harder than they need to be just by trying to see too much.
Pick a base, stay a bit longer, and let things settle.
That alone fixes most problems.
When you’re ready, the maps make everything easier to see:
EMAIL 2 — (Day 2)
Subject: This is what catches people out
The thing that confuses most people here isn’t location — it’s timing.
Food especially.
You’ll find a place busy one hour, then quiet or closed the next.
Nothing’s wrong — it’s just how the day works.
Markets and local places are strongest earlier.
Later in the day, options reduce naturally.
Once you expect that, it becomes much easier.
If you want to see how it connects across areas:

EMAIL 3 — (Day 3)
Subject: Moving around less actually helps
It sounds backwards, but moving less usually shows you more here.
Travel takes more out of the day than you expect.
Changing places too often turns into packing, waiting, and resetting.
Staying in one area for a few days makes everything easier:
food, movement, timing.
If you’re planning routes, this helps:

EMAIL 4 — (Day 5)
Subject: This is where it starts to work
At some point, things just start to make sense.
You stop checking times.
You stop trying to plan everything.
You just move with what’s there.
That’s when Negros works best.
If you haven’t yet, pick one area and explore outward from it.
The maps help with that:
EMAIL 5 — (Day 7 — SOFT INTRO TO FUTURE PRODUCTS)
Subject: If you end up staying longer
If you find yourself staying longer than planned (it happens),
there are a few things I’ve been putting together:
- a more detailed version of the guide
- breakdowns of specific areas
- a simple discount card for some local places
None of it is necessary.
Just useful if you decide to go a bit deeper.
For now, the guide + maps are enough.
