Dive site — locally called ‘The Washing Machine’ for its strong, multi-directional currents, at Apo Island’s northern tip. Considered the island’s most exhilarating drift dive: a sandy slope down to about 25-28m where whitetip reef sharks rest, schools of jacks/trevally and chevron barracuda pass through, plus soft corals, gorgonians, and large barrel sponges. Advanced-diver territory given the current strength — best timed on an incoming tide. Not recommended for beginners.
