ACTIVITIES: some communities will take visitors out, but this is arranged person-to-person on the beach rather than through an operator — expect no safety equipment and decide accordingly. SAFETY: coastal barangays are close-knit and generally safe; the caution is sea conditions rather than people, and afternoon weather turns fast on both coasts.
