White sand beach on the western side of San Juan, widely regarded as Siquijor’s best stretch of coast and known locally as ‘Little Boracay.’ The beach splits into two sections: a smaller, busier area near the parking and food stalls, and a wider stretch reached by a short trail through the trees that locals call Big Paliton. A large solitary palm tree leaning out over the sand has become the spot’s signature image, though the tree itself is aging and no longer as sturdy as it looks in photos. There’s a marine sanctuary just offshore for snorkeling. Weekends bring local crowds; the beach itself has no permanent restaurants, just vendors selling snacks, drinks, and snorkel rentals.
