National park — two crater lakes (Balinsasayao and Danao) separated by a narrow forested ridge, sitting in dense rainforest at around 1,000m elevation. One of the main protected areas in Negros Oriental, with kayak and boat hire, a viewing deck over both lakes, and trails. A cooler, quieter counterpoint to the falls circuit and worth a separate half-day rather than squeezing it into a waterfall day. About 13.1km from Valencia town plaza — habal-habal, tricycle or car distance.
