Ilog, Negros Occidental: Coastal Edge & River Villages
Description
A quieter coastal-to-river transition town between Kabankalan and Hinoba-an — coastal belts and edges give way to forest pockets, highland pockets, and river-plain villages further inland. Not a set tourist stop, but a legitimate slow-travel waypoint if you’re driving the full west-coast route rather than flying directly to Sipalay.
HOW TO GET THERE: On the same Bacolod-Kabankalan-Sipalay-Hinoba-an bus corridor as Kabankalan.
BEST TIME: Daytime; dry season (roughly December-May) for easier travel on rural roads.
