Mambukal Sulfur Spring

Description

The hot sulfur spring at the heart of Mambukal Resort — the reason the site was developed in the first place, dating back to a bathhouse built here in 1927 by Japanese architect Kokichi Paul Ishiwata. Along with two swimming pools and the falls trail, it’s the resort’s core draw, with cold-water channels running alongside the hot pools so bathers can alternate.
