Description

Research and educational museum run by Silliman University’s Biology Department, on the ground floor of the Science Complex (East Wing). Named after Prof. Rodolfo B. Gonzales, who chaired the Biology Department for 35 years. Houses roughly 18,000 specimens, with about 2,000 on display — including a rare Philippine Eagle specimen and various endemic birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. Open Monday-Friday 9am-12pm and 2-5pm; Saturday tours can be arranged in advance through the Museum Manager. Phone +63 35 4201901 loc. 314.
