Sipalay Coastal Walking Rhythm
Sipalay Coastal Walking Rhythm

Description

Evening walking rhythm along the coast. In Sipalay. Waterfronts and boulevards fill in the early evening with walkers, joggers, families and food carts — the coolest part of the day and the most sociable. Dumaguete’s Rizal Boulevard is the best-known, but most coastal towns have their own version. WHAT TO DO: walk, eat from carts, sit. NIGHTLIFE: waterfront strips are where what bar life exists tends to be, particularly in Dumaguete and Bacolod. SAFETY: well-lit and busy while people are out, and generally safe; it thins quickly after about 10pm, and quiet waterfront stretches late at night are worth avoiding alone.
