Tinagong Dagat
Description
Hiking destination reached from Patag — the name means ‘hidden sea,’ because during the rainy season a lake appears in the depression and then disappears again in the dry months. Patag is the jump-off point for the hike. The wider Patag area also has sulfur geysers (sulfataras) and is habitat for the endangered Philippine spotted deer.
