Description
Negros Island’s coastline holds far more sand than any map names — 153 separate stretches of beach appear in the underlying geographic data with no name attached at all. No resort, no signage, no reviews online. These are the coves and shorelines locals walk to without ever thinking of them as a ‘place’ — just the beach past the last named one. This is the closest thing to a genuine treasure map Negros has: real coordinates, zero tourist infrastructure, and nobody has written about any of them. Go find one and it’s yours for the day.
Tips
Bring everything you need — water, food, shade — since there"s nothing to buy nearby. Go by boat where possible, since road access to unnamed coastline is often informal or nonexistent. Check tide times before heading out; undeveloped beaches don"t have anyone to warn you if the sand disappears at high tide. Ask locals in the nearest barangay before crossing private or fishing land — a friendly heads-up goes a long way. Don"t expect facilities, shade, or phone signal.
