Description

Zamboanguita is covered in more depth in this project’s diving content (Thalatta Dive Resort, Wellbeach Dive Resort, Mahi Mahi Dive Resort, and the San Miguel muck-diving site are all here) — worth cross-referencing rather than repeating in full.

Beyond diving, the municipality has its own coastal belt and villages, forest edges, ridgelines, and upland barangays inland — a genuine slow-travel stretch between Dauin and Siaton if diving isn’t the main draw for you.

HOW TO GET THERE: On the same coast road south of Dauin, roughly 30-40 minutes from Dumaguete by tricycle, jeepney, or private car.

BEST TIME: Any time for the coastal drive itself; mornings if diving/snorkeling is the plan, since boats typically head out early.
