Dumaguete’s seafront promenade and the city’s most consistently searched tourist spot — a paved, palm-lined walkway along the coast from the port area up past Silliman University’s Hibbard Avenue side. Best at sunset (roughly 5:30-6:30pm year-round), when locals and visitors both turn out to walk, jog, or just sit on the seawall benches watching fishing boats and the Cebu/Siquijor ferry lights across the strait. Lined with cafes, seafood restaurants, and a scattering of historical markers. New signage was installed along the boulevard in 2018. Functions as the city’s default ‘first stop’ — most itineraries and hotel recommendations orient around walking distance from here.
