Amlan, Escalante, Guihulngan, Cadiz & Manapla: Negros’ Coastal Route Towns

Description

These five towns — Amlan (Negros Oriental) and Escalante, Guihulngan, Cadiz, Manapla (Negros Occidental) — are primarily coastal-route waypoints rather than standalone destinations with major individual attractions documented.

They’re genuinely useful as a ‘how it actually works’ fact for anyone driving the island’s coastal ring road rather than flying between Bacolod and Dumaguete: the coast road passes through all of these towns, and each has its own ordinary fishing-and-farming coastal-town rhythm worth a slow drive-through rather than a dedicated stop.

HOW TO GET THERE: All sit along Negros’ coastal highway network, connected by regular jeepney/bus routes between the major cities.

BEST TIME: Daytime for the drive-through experience; no specific seasonal draw for any of these individually.
