Silay City Plaza
Description
Public plaza at the centre of the heritage zone, fronting the church — with a dancing fountain, playground, basketball court, and the illuminated ‘SILAY’ sign. Popular for evening jogging and street food. Occupies the site of the former sunken Plaza Olympia Severino, which was named the most beautiful plaza in the Philippines in 1951 before being demolished during the Martial Law era.
