Campomanes Bay
Description
Deep, sheltered bay adjacent to Punta Ballo, and one of Sipalay’s core dive areas — declared a marine reserve and home to two wreck sites, including the SS Panay, which sits upright at around 41 metres and is worked by every dive centre in the area. The bay’s own beach has gentler waves than Sipalay’s other beaches, since it’s angled away from the open sea, though the sand is rockier and less fine than at Punta Ballo. Sailors passing through Sipalay also use it as a sheltered anchorage when conditions get rough further along the coast.
