Bais – Manjuyod Coastal Stretch

Bais – Manjuyod Coastal Stretch
Bais – Manjuyod Coastal Stretch

Description

A short, flat stretch of the east-coast highway running north from Bais City through Manjuyod, with the road holding close to Bais Bay for much of it. This is less a destination drive than a section worth driving deliberately: the bay, the fishponds and the mangrove edges sit directly off the road, and the boat jump-offs for the Manjuyod sandbar and the Bais dolphin-watching trips are reached from this line. Traffic is ordinary highway movement — buses, tricycles, farm vehicles — which is part of what the stretch shows about how the bay towns connect.
