Siaton – Lake Balanan
Description
The short inland run from Siaton up to Lake Balanan, a landslide-formed lake in the hills behind the south coast. The route leaves the coastal highway, passes through Siaton town, then climbs on a narrowing road into the valley that holds the lake. The final approach is the defining part of the drive: the road tightens, follows the contours, and ends at the lake access rather than continuing anywhere — this is an in-and-back road. The lake itself operates as a managed site with an entry point, which makes the end of the drive predictable in a way many inland roads here are not.

Tips
The last kilometres are the slowest — plan the drive around the road, not the straight-line distance. Mornings are the calmest window on the water.
