Sipalay – Cauayan – Kabankalan

The southwest coastal road, running north from Sipalay through Cauayan to Kabankalan. This is the stretch that connects the beach areas of the far southwest back to the main highway network, and it behaves like a working coastal road rather than a tourist corridor: fishing barangays, river crossings, and long open sections where the road runs close to the water. Cauayan marks the midpoint, after which the road bends inland toward Kabankalan, the commercial anchor of the southwest and the junction where routes split toward Bacolod, Mabinay and the south coast.
